Venice Italy holds a special place in our hearts. The first few years Alan and I were married, we lived in London and that was nearly 17 years ago. During our time living in the UK, we made a point to venture off and explore every chance we could. Continue reading

Sometimes I just need to pinch myself and see if it is all still real. It’s been exactly 5 years, since we designed our travel lifestyle, quit our jobs, sold our home, most of our belongings, and hopped on a plane to Spain! We have such a rich, tranquil and quality life, with the diversity of Europe at our fingertips. Even though we have all of this, we still dream of future destinations. I’m hoping that some good quality time under the Tuscan sun is in our future too. Just imagine the fun of renting luxury houses in Italy.
It’s time to start planning those summer Road Trips
Many people enjoy road trips in Europe and we wanted to experience one as well. We plotted and planned our adventure and experienced one of the best road trips ever! We spent 6 weeks on our road trip roaming around Europe and only booked the first couple of legs of our trip in advance. After that, it was free-flowing. Continue reading
Okay, so we aren’t getting married ‘cause we already are! However, if you want to get married in Rome or would like to see others get married by the minute, then we can tell you where to go! I am still catching up on things to share with you from our 6 week European Road Trip. We have so much to share, but it takes loads of time to weed through all of the photos.
While we were staying near Florence Italy, for the upcoming week we had scheduled a tour to see some Pagani supercars as well as the Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese Dairy in Modena. We were looking for some last-minute accommodation near Modena, Italy to ensure we had easy access to the tour locations. We found the most adorable apartment in Reggio Emilia and the owners were very accommodating.
This is the question many of you have asked and I bet many of you wanted to, but didn’t want to invade our privacy. How much did your European Road Trip Cost? Don’t worry, if you have a question for us, just ask! We are sharing our experiences, stories, budgets with all of you.
Not only to keep a record for ourselves, but to show you it can be done. We want to share it all with you for inspiration, to help you prepare, plan or even think differently about your dreams and desires. So ask away, don’t be shy. Okay, so now let’s get into the 6 week road trip cost as we traveled around Europe, the ride of our lives.
Over the course of our Summer 2013 road trip, we had a lot of experiences. Some of the most memorable for me were very simple. It didn’t matter so much the What we were doing, the thing that stands out for me was that they were great moments because we were connecting as a family. The best memory of the trip was when we rented a boat on Lake Garda Italy.
One of the things I really enjoy about our Summer road trip travel adventure is that we’re learning about local products, and how they’re made. While the Pagani Tour was awesome, we decided to do something a little more down to earth. We took a tour of Acetaia di Giorgio and saw how they make Traditional Balsamic Vinegar firsthand.
