YIKES! Heidi’s Going To Pueblo Español!

As of a week ago, we got the thumbs up to go to Pueblo Español!  The plan was for me to go late July and for Alan to go in October.  Well, plans are already changing since I first drafted this post, so see what is happening now!

Look out PUEBLO ESPAÑOL here comes Heidi

Just got the call today, that they would like me to go in June rather than late July!  That means I need to be ready to go in under 2 weeks, rather than 7 weeks.  YIKES!

Oh my goodness!  Oh my goodness!  Oh my goodness!

I am so excited!

I am so nervous!

What the heck have I just said yes to?

This is it baby, sink or swim!

Okay, I know we have been wanting to go for so long, but now I am a nervous wreck!  It is here and it is time to go.  I am in a scramble to move my bookings around and all of our previously scheduled work.

For example we have a great giveaway scheduled for Almunecar Info, which was supposed to run from June 5-20.  No worries, it will need to be postponed a couple of weeks.

I was looking forward to building my confidence with more local Spanish conversation classes, but it looks like it is time to sink or swim.  Since I love swimming, that is the path I am going to try to take.

I Am Going To Need Your Help!

Not to worry, I am going to keep you up to date every step of the way.  You are all going to have to be my confidence builders and help support me!

When I have time I will post a Facebook update, during the sessions or at the end of the night.  This is where you come in!  I will really need you to help boost me up and leave your comments cheering me on.  I am sure it will be an intense, frustrating, and rewarding experience, but I need my friends and family as my virtual cheerleaders.

Heidi’s Pueblo Español Plan

Okay, so I am going to travel to Madrid on June 11th, which is a Sunday.  This is just a travel day to get there and get settled.  The next day I will be attending school at the Pueblo Español office for an intensive Spanish course.  These will be 4 hours per day for 4 days.  It is all in prep for the 8 days of immersion starting on Friday the 16th of June.  We will wrap up the Pueblo Español immersion the night of June 23rd and it will be time to make my way back home.  So keep an eye out for updates 11-23 June!

Alan’s Pueblo Español Plan

As we stated in our last Pueblo Español post, Alan will be taking a different path and focusing on the business for a bit.  He is currently scheduled to attend in October, so you will need to support him then too.  Are you up for the challenge?

If you want to follow our full path and progress toward reaching this goal, just read the links below.

Who is going to come join me?  What do you think?  Have you set a big goal for yourself and then met it?  Tell us about it below…

    • That’s what I’m talking about Becca! You are awesome. Thanks for your support. I will “get this” just because you said I will. 🙂

      • I don’t believe there is anyway I could become fluent in another language! And this is why we are moving to Scotland in 28 days! We sort of speak the same language as the Scots!

        • Ha, I am sure you could Becca. Oh and you may be a little shocked with how diffent English can be around the globe. It will be great to hear how you get on when you arrive. Keep us posted and if we get back up that way we could meet up. We loved Edinburgh and Aberdeen over Christmas. Thanks for the comment.

Come on and tell us what you think!
