It looks like Christmas 2018 is taking us back to one of our most magical Christmas trips. With dazzling lights in every direction, stunning scenery, a great city vibe, Christmas Markets, crepes, hot chocolate and baguettes too!
Each Autumn our consulting and blogging takes a little siesta, so Alan and I take full advantage of this time to work on projects and improve our Spanish. This time we tried experiential learning Spanish mixed with some traditional classroom time. Yep, we are taking the slow road to fluency, but at least we are still on that road! To top it all off, we know we are better than we were last year!
High up in the Himalayas are two amazing places in the highest regions in the world. Sharing a border that crosses directly over the summit of Mount Everest, Tibet and Nepal are neighbors in more than one sense of the word. Not only do they share Mount Everest, by they also share many other high Himalayan mountains, since their border follows the line of the Himalayas from north to south. Therefore, more and more tourists choose the Nepal Tibet Tour and experience the subtle differences between them.
As we are a traveling family living in Spain, space is of great importance to us. We try very hard not to collect too many material “things” as we want to keep our belongings to a minimum. We have decided to share a Creative Gifts Guide. These are great gift ideas for the person who has everything and we even provide you fun and creative ways to give a gift!
It looks like some people are curious about our experience with teen braces in Spain, so time to dig into the details and frequently asked questions for you! We will cover the process for finding the right orthodontist, the process we went through, as well as our cost for braces in Spain.
Unique and Creative Ways To Give A Gift. Scavenger hunt, riddles, puzzle pieces, a suprise gift, a special gift & more. Fun ways to present gifts!
As you know, we have been living in Spain for a few years, and during that time we have done our fair share of driving and trying to figure out the Spanish road signs. I remember when we first arrived and trying to figure out the rules of the road. Coming from the United States, there were plenty of things that were familiar, but many others that just made us wonder, or look up the answer on the internet.
We have welcomed several visitors to Spain and it has been fun driving around with them. It is fun hearing their thoughts on driving in Spain as well the meaning of the road signs in Spain and the street markings. Did you know we have a Zebra, Giraffe and Jellyfish crossing? What about the Poo Stop or Ninja’s on the loose?
Every now and again we receive questions which we are dying to just type a reply of “Google it!”. We tend to just answer the question as it is either a client, future client or a loyal reader. Hopefully this post on facts for Spain, including maps of Spain will do the trick and help some of you find your answers. These should be handy if you are just travelling to Spain or if you are planning to move to Spain.
What was it that Bob Dylan wrote? Ahh yes, “The times they are a changin’“. So why do I bring that song up? It’s really a mundane thing, but the time in Spain will be changing. It’s time to turn the clocks back. Who out there (in the Northern Hemisphere) has been waiting all year for that extra hour of sleep? This guy, that’s who!
