In February, we once again returned to Thailand, though this time we were going to visit Southern Thailand! We had plans to visit many of the beautiful Thai Islands, surrounded by the majestic turquoise waters, in the Thai Gulf and the Andaman Sea. It was finally beach time!
After the super touristy island of Koh Tao, we stayed on the more relaxed island of Koh Phangan. We were about a 5 minute walk from Haad Yao Beach, and I must say the beach is nice. Fine white sands, great water; basically everything you would want in an island beach. Today is going to be a fun day for us because it’s a Scooter Day! I love these. Any chance to get on two wheels and zip around is A-OK with me. Check out our scooter day in Laos, at the Blue Lagoon.
Well it seems that many of you are interested in our meals. To conclude our Restaurant Review Week, here is a summary. It include all of those featured in our review as well as a few more, so it covers all of the Thai Gulf Islands we visited. Just so you know, some of these places have hosted us and shown us a really good time. We only want to share our favorites with you, as there isn’t enough time in the day to write about every meal. That said, we also provide many reviews on Trip Advisor, so you can check that out too.
Wow! What a complete treat. We have been traveling for a long time and as you know we love our western food. I was a bit worried about what we may or may not find on Koh Phangan, as we had never been. We stayed on the northwest side on a small beach named Haad Yao. And how lucky were we to find Crave!
