Legoland is located in the southern most region of Malaysia in Johor Bahru. If you want to get from Singapore or Kuala Lumpur to Legoland Malaysia, you are in the right place. We share with you many easily access to Legoland Malaysia from either location. You can make it a day trip or stay for a while at the Legoland Malaysia Hotel.
After spending a little more than 7 months exploring Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, it was time to head south to Malaysia. We spent nearly 2 months in Malaysia and stayed in all types of accommodation, hotels, hostels, apartments, and homes. We were also scoping this area out as a potential long-term residence, in the future. This was the last couple of months in our Southeast Asia tour, so we were a bit tired of moving fast and were looking for a few options to help slow us down. We also spent 2 nights in Singapore, which we will include at the end.
This is our first amusement park in Southeast Asia, and we were all excited to go to LEGOLAND Malaysia! I’d always heard great things about Legoland in general, and as a fan of Legos, this turned out to be a lot of fun.
Being a tall person has its advantages. But when traveling, being tall sometimes isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. There has been many a time that I have wished that I was a bit shorter. Some extra headroom on the bus would be nice. If I were a foot shorter, I would actually have some leg room on airplanes. This go around though, there were times where I was wishing I was short. Like really short. As in 2 inches short. You must be thinking, “He’s finally flipped his lid!”. Well…no. We’re at Legoland Malaysia, and I’m talking about the Lego Star Wars Miniland exhibit!
With 20 water slides, a wave pool, floating river and splash area, LEGOLAND Water Park is the place to hang out and cool down on a hot day in Malaysia. This is the perfect place for small children, as there is so much available at this park for those ages. We all had fun and enjoyed our time visiting the park.
