  1. Beautiful place Heidi 😉 I recall seeing the same fish eagles when we did visa runs from Thailand to Myanmar. Neat, BIG creatures they are. I haven’t done Langkawi yet but have friends who loved their stay there, and couldn’t recommend it any more. Tough to tack it on to this trip but maybe next time in SE Asia.

Loved the production value on the video! Well done 😉

    • Thanks Ryan. It is a beautiful place. Lars will be thrilled about your production comment. This is our 12 year old’s baby. Thanks

  2. I didn’t know Langkawi was so “wild”, great to see this side of it beyond the luxurious resorts… I wouldn’t have considered it as a nature/adventure destination before, but this really changed my mind. Oh and nice use of music 🙂

  3. Yes! I love Langkawi. I just thought it was another beach resort island before I went and was blown away by the wildlife. I love the big hornbills hanging out in the trees above you and the monkeys everywhere. A flying red squirrel nearly landed on my head once! Amazing experiences 🙂 could have done without all the snakes we came across last time we were there though!

    • Oh, now you made me want to return! 🙂 It was a wonderful place. We didn’t run by any snakes, but plenty of other things. Thanks for stopping by Marianne!

Come on and tell us what you think!
