In the early hours of the morning on August 26th, 2012, we stepped off of our overnight flight and were in Barcelona! Though we were exhausted and it was a long flight for the kids, we were pumped with energy and excitement. We were all in great moods and had no idea what our future would hold. This was only our second time in Spain, but we walked with our heads held high as we exited the Barcelona Airport, for the first time as Spanish residents and the beginning of this travel blog Spain and more!
First off, I don’t mean to sound negative. And I don’t want to come off as a snobby tourist, but there’s a few things that happened in Paris that bothered me. Now these common Paris scams happen in every popular tourist place, but it still bugs me that there are people doing this kind of stuff, and are not actively getting arrested (or their butt’s kicked!).
Paris with teenagers is an entirely different experience and I have to say quite enjoyable. This was our second Christmas in Paris with Grandma Linda, but this time with teens. We experienced Paris Christmas markets, dazzling lights, museums, food, shops, sights, scooters, Christmas jammies, independence, games & more!
It looks like Christmas 2018 is taking us back to one of our most magical Christmas trips. With dazzling lights in every direction, stunning scenery, a great city vibe, Christmas Markets, crepes, hot chocolate and baguettes too!
We were scheduled to visit Morzine France this summer, as we had a house sit there for 1 week. We didn’t know much about the town, other than it being a ski resort in the French Alps. Since this was all part of our bigger 8 week road trip, we planned to have a very mellow week and just catch up on our writing, while staying at a house sit. Well, that isn’t exactly how it played out. So check out these great things to do in Morzine France for the summer!
This is the question many of you have asked and I bet many of you wanted to, but didn’t want to invade our privacy. So we are just going to share with you all of our 8 week European Road Trip Costs. Don’t worry, if you have a question for us, just ask! We are sharing our experiences, stories, budgets with all of you. This one gets a bit tricky, so pay close attention.
We traveled over 6000km in Spain & France and stayed in all types of accommodation. We covered it all from Luxury to Misery, ya know the “Get me out of here!” kind. Now it’s time to share it all with you, every place we stayed during our 8 week European road trip. Yes, we will include what we thought and the costs too. Keep on reading!
It’s another lovely tasting for us, this time French wines. This is not a typical large-scale winery, but a tiny new winery. It’s at Domaine des Amiel, and it is literally outside our front door and under our apartment. So Heidi and are ready to start enjoying Montblanc wine!
