  2. SEA Aquarium  –

Located on RW Sentosa Island  (SEA Aquarium Visitor Info)
We are water and sea people, so when we visit an aquarium we are loving it!  This place was absolutely amazing and my all-time favorite was the Jellyfish display as well as the huge aquarium.  I wish we had planned more in advance to do a dive there.  Read more about our visit here.Singapore with kids - Things to do and see SEA Aquarium

  3. Trick Eye Museum

Located on RW Sentosa Island just as you walk across the bridge. This place is full of 2D paintings on the museum walls, floors and ceilings appear to pop out of the surface and come to life. Visitors are more than welcome to explore the various themed galleries with their eyes, hands and even cameras. Step inside the paintings to complete a visual narrative with your creative poses, and watch a “tricky” story unfold before your camera.  Read more on the Trick Eye Museum Singapore.Singapore with kids - Things to do and see Trick eye museum

The Singapore Flyer is fun for everyone, if you don’t mind heights.  We didn’t have time to ride on the day we stopped by, as there was a bit of a line and we were on a time crunch.  If you purchase the Singapore Tourist Pass, there is an option to have this included in your purchase price.Singapore with kids - Things to do and see Singapore Flyer

  1. Hi Heidi,

Cool stuff! We just visited the airport twice within the past 4 months. More than enough to do in Changi for the layovers. We would venture out of the spot during future trips to see more of what Singapore has to offer.

Aquarium would be A1 on our list; love the fish 😉

    Thanks Guys!

    Ryan

    • Thanks Ryan. Hey next time you are passing through Singapore, look up the free city tour from the airport. They offer a tour if you have a long lay over.

  2. I have not been to Singapore since I’ve had kids but I would love to return. It seems like one of the easiest places to spend a weekend with kids simply because there is so much to do! I’m also a massive fan of Asian food so would be quite happy here 🙂

  3. We just got our return ticket to NZ from UK and managed to get 24 hours in SIngapore as layover..this post will come in handy as we try to squeeze in one or two things in the short time we are there!

    • Wonderful Samiya. Do check out the tour from the airport as well. I can’t remember who wrote about it now, but it is supposed to be good for people with a layover, so 24hrs is good too. 🙂

  4. Our family will be in Singapore the first week of December. Where did your family stay for the 2 days you were there?

Come on and tell us what you think!
