We were fortunate enough to kick off our epic 8 week summer road trip through Spain and France in Mallorca! Specifically Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia Mallorca, on the Northwest side of the island. It turns out this is the perfect place for a family to enjoy a summer holiday and you will love the Alcudia weather.
Over 17 years ago Alan and I fell in love with Amsterdam. We were living in London at the time and Alan needed to come over for business a few times. Of course, I would often come with him and roam the city, while he was working and then we would explore together in the evenings. We had just 48 hours to enjoy things to do in Salamanca Spain, with our kids. Now that our kids are a bit older, it seems we are finding more and more to enjoy. Our original plans for our 8 week European road trip were to spend at least a week in each place. Well, that went out the window when we knew we would be passing by locations we wanted to visit as well. Salamanca made it on our list for 2 days, and it was wonderful.

Visiting cities like Barcelona, which are filled with extreme art and culture with kids can be really exhausting. Kids typically do not always find visiting museums, churches, or architecturally advanced structures amusing and hence, can be hard to please. Therefore, if you’re travelling to this magnificent city with children, it is important to plan ahead, places, or attractions which will be fun for them.
