It looks like Christmas 2018 is taking us back to one of our most magical Christmas trips. With dazzling lights in every direction, stunning scenery, a great city vibe, Christmas Markets, crepes, hot chocolate and baguettes too!
London is an exciting city for all ages, with a long list of things to see and do for the entire family. Remember Alan and I lived there for nearly 3 years, when we were first married. We finally introduced the city to the kids in 2013 and we had so much fun touring around on the hop on hop off bus. We are big London fans and the kids keep asking to return.
The South Downs is a beautiful sprawl of countryside that’s sandwiched between London and England’s south coast. So as I am thinking of all those we have visited recently, a song I learned in girl scouts keeps ringing in my head about friends. Continue reading
What’s the best option for seeing as much of London with kids, while not breaking the bank, and being convenient? The short answer is The Original Tour company in London. We received hop-on/hop-off bus tickets for 48 hours, a Thames River cruise and they even have free walking tours available. Remember how much we loved it in Porto, Portugal as well?
Okay maybe the title is a bit mixed up. We arrived in London England and then the storm hit. I know you are asking “What in the world are you doing in London? You live in Spain.” We are doing our very first house sit and are very excited. We yanked the kids out of school for the week and are in the land of the Queen. Continue reading
