As you meander the narrow streets and tree-lined canals of Amsterdam, you can’t help but wonder what it would be like to live here. To experience canal living in Amsterdam, in one of those tall narrow gable houses, each with a unique feel and personality. Better yet, to live on one of the houseboats, which line the canals and get the real feel of the city. That is the picture perfect dream I had over 16 years ago, when Alan and I first visited Amsterdam.
Do you like to experience that rush of adrenaline when you get scared or startled? Lars does. Anya does. And you know I do. Where do you go if you’re in the mood to be scared? Well, if you’re the Wagoners, and you just happen to be in Amsterdam, you get scared at The Amsterdam Dungeon.
One of the things I really like about our travels is finding out how things are made. Well this trip is no different. While visiting Amsterdam, we were fortunate enough to see how beer is made at Heineken. Through the Heineken Experience, the Wagoners Abroad crew was able to do just that.
Now this is Amsterdam Living with Wagoners Abroad. Awesome houseboat booked with Go with Oh. Alan and the kids are on our deck waving to you!
