So many people ask us about the kids education in Spain and it is never easy to answer. You see we can’t speak for all of the schools in Spain, we can only share with you our experience. We are certain that everyone has different experiences depending on location, type of school and the biggest variable, the students attending.
When planning to move abroad the vast number of things to do can be a bit daunting. We have now made several moves, and with each one we have learned new lessons. It doesn’t matter where you are moving from, or where you are moving to, since many times you need to go through the same motions. The core of the moving checklist remains the same, with a few subtle differences regarding the location. This is the question that mystifies most, thus we are regularly asked it in one form or another. Many people don’t like to bring up the subject, especially those we know in the United States. It is socially seen as “impolite” to ask such things, but not in our eyes! Ask away. Unfortunately, there isn’t a straight forward answer. The best answer I can think of is “We worked very hard, made it a priority, simplified and saved”.
