Too funny! I took this identical picture and WhatsApp’ed it to Bruce. (I’ll bet the Mercadona store manager is wondering what’s going on.) I’ve been a cupcake-and-canned frosting addict since high school. So far, I’ve resisted temptation and haven’t bought any. So far….
Hey Maria, exciting times in Almunecar. We love love love the canned frosting. I know it isn’t for the purest and homemade cake people, but it is what I grew up with. Of course had to buy some even though it wasn’t on my shopping list.
I know what you mean Christine! I did the same when I found chocolate chips. As soon as I returned from the store yesterday, I made a huge cornbread. I am thinking Tamale pie is sounding good too.
It is! Yes, we will be leaving Spain at the end of June. In July we will explore the Netherlands, Belgium and N. France a bit and then head to Stockholm for a couple of days. We fly to Bangkok from Stockholm late July and plan to spend several months in Southeast Asia.
I get excited about finding things at the grocery store in Malaysia, too. I remember texting friends that the store had Grape Nuts and to hurry in before the few boxes were gone.

When I found chocolate chips, I went on a baking cookies bonanza. LOL!
Hi Ase,

Isn’t it silly, the little things we miss being away from Home? Are you leaving Almunecar?
Ah the simple pleasures in life, right Michele? 🙂 Ooooh Grape Nuts in Malaysia, that is good to know. We should be over that way later this year.
