We were fortunate enough to kick off our epic 8 week summer road trip through Spain and France in Mallorca! Specifically Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia Mallorca, on the Northwest side of the island. It turns out this is the perfect place for a family to enjoy a summer holiday.
Who in the world would take an Ireland vacation in the winter?
We would! We had the opportunity to house and pet-sit in Dublin, over the holiday school break, so it was a no-brainer for us. We were going to be spending a full week in the suburbs of Dublin, but we decided to add on an extra week of fun vacation time in Southern Ireland. Yes the land of County Cork and County Kerry!
Singapore is a wonderful place to visit, as it is so clean and organized. That does however come at a price, so be a bit prepared for a little sticker shock, as Singapore is expensive. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the country for a little bit. We had a wonderful 48 hours in Singapore with kids. We want to share what we have learned with you so you can get ideas of things to do in Singapore with kids and a couple of options on where to stay.
Over 17 years ago Alan and I fell in love with Amsterdam. We were living in London at the time and Alan needed to come over for business a few times. The city is just as we remembered. So, we thought we would share some things to do in Amsterdam with kids. Continue reading →
Visiting cities like Barcelona, which are filled with extreme art and culture with kids can be really exhausting. Kids typically do not always find visiting museums, churches, or architecturally advanced structures amusing and hence, can be hard to please. Therefore, if you’re travelling to this magnificent city with children, it is important to plan ahead, places, or attractions which will be fun for them. We think this is one of the friendliest cities on earth, so getting around with kids should be not so difficult!

Yes, I did say Free Things To Do in Porto, with kids! We had a wonderful time visiting Porto, Portugal (aka Oporto). We will have to tell you all about our adventures in another post. We were so thrilled to find so many free activities for the kids, we thought we would dedicate an entire post just to that. I am sure there are more free activities out there, but we didn’t have time to enjoy them all.
