The Colors of Budapest Hungary
In our everyday life, we are often in a rush to go from here to there or to “get things done”. When one is in this mode it is difficult to slow down and appreciate the little gifts or pops of joy that surround you. We had all heard the popular cliché “Take time to stop and smell the roses” and we are trying to live our life in that way. We want the kids to learn to appreciate nature, crafts, art and form their own view of beauty. We shared with you the Colors of Marrakech Morocco and decided we wanted to make this an ongoing series, as we continue our travels.
I am sure you are thinking “What the heck do you mean by ‘Shoes on the Danube’?” Well, today is your lucky day, as I am going to tell you.

Each and every day, I love watching the sun rise or set. I am someone who thrives off of warmer weather and beautiful crisp clear skies. So what the heck happens to me at night when the sun is shining brightly on the other side of the world?

Are you planning a trip to Hungary and looking for things to do in Budapest? How about having a little bit of fun, mixed with Hungarian culture and food? We have all heard the term Goulash before, but did you know it was a traditional Hungarian dish? Well, we are going to provide you with an overview of one of our favorite things to do in Budapest. You travel to a new destination and you see all of the stuff the guidebooks tell you to see. But let’s face it, there are only so many museums, statues, and places of interest that you can look at before you’ve had enough. That’s when it’s time to go off the beaten path, and do something a bit different. Step outside of the tourist box and do something the entire family will get into. Work together as a team and have fun while on a MindQuest and beat the clock. This was one of our favorite things to do in Budapest!
