Singapore is a wonderful place to visit, as it is so clean and organized. That does however come at a price, so be a bit prepared for a little sticker shock, as Singapore is expensive. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the country for a little bit. We had a wonderful 48 hours in Singapore with kids. We want to share what we have learned with you so you can get ideas of things to do in Singapore with kids and a couple of options on where to stay.
We had a great time visiting the LEGOLAND Hotel and Resort in Johor Bahru Malaysia. We thought we would share some info with you to make your visit more enjoyable.
This is our first amusement park in Southeast Asia, and we were all excited to go to LEGOLAND Malaysia! I’d always heard great things about Legoland in general, and as a fan of Legos, this turned out to be a lot of fun.
Legoland is located in the southern most region of Malaysia in Johor Bahru. If you are staying in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, not to worry as there is easy access to Legoland Malaysia from either location. You can make it a day trip or stay for a while.
Being a tall person has it’s advantages. But when traveling, being tall sometimes isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. There has been many a time that I have wished that I was a bit shorter. Some extra headroom on the bus would be nice. If I were a foot shorter, I would actually have some legroom on airplanes. This go around though, there were times where I was wishing I was short. Like really short. As in 2 inches short. You must be thinking, “He’s finally flipped his lid!”. Well…no. We’re at Legoland Malaysia, and I’m talking about the Lego Star Wars Miniland exhibit!
With 20 water slides, a wave pool, floating river and splash area, LEGOLAND Water Park is the place to hang out and cool down on a hot day in Malaysia. This is the perfect place for small children, as there is so much available at this park for those ages. We all had fun and enjoyed our time visiting the park.
So far I have traveled to 50+ countries in my lifetime and I have to say, I fell in love with the nature and beauty in Langkawi, Malaysia. I know I have more of the world to see, but Langkawi Malaysia ranks very high for us. Come with us as we show you our guide to Langkawi, and check out all of the fun things to do in Langkawi with kids. Continue reading
If you know the Wagoner Family, you know we love to take Hop On Hop Off Bus when we can. We find it fun and easy to get around a location with the kids this way and it has yet to disappoint us. Remember our time on the Original Bus Tour in London and in the rain when visiting Portugal? Well, this time we did experienced it island style with Hop On Hop Off Penang (HO HO). We found it a bit funny that it is also called HO HO! Instant thoughts of that delicious Hostess product or even Santa!
When researching travel options for our journey from Hue to Hoi An, I found there were several choices. I happened upon the option of a private car versus the bus or train. I reached out to a few agencies for pricing and within minutes, I had a reasonable price from Hue Private Cars (VM Travel).
