We were scheduled to visit Morzine France this summer, as we had a house sit there for 1 week. We didn’t know much about the town, other than it being a ski resort in the French Alps. Since this was all part of our bigger 8 week road trip, we planned to have a very mellow week and just catch up on our writing, while staying at a house sit. Well, that isn’t exactly how it played out.

All I have to say is Visit Galicia soon! We found some of the most beautiful places to experience and thought we should share them with you.
We were fortunate enough to kick off our epic 8 week summer road trip through Spain and France in Mallorca! Specifically Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia Mallorca, on the Northwest side of the island. It turns out this is the perfect place for a family to enjoy a summer holiday.
Who in the world would take an Ireland vacation in the winter?
We would! We had the opportunity to house and pet-sit in Dublin, over the holiday school break, so it was a no-brainer for us. We were going to be spending a full week in the suburbs of Dublin, but we decided to add on an extra week of fun vacation time in Southern Ireland. Yes the land of County Cork and County Kerry!
The other day Anya was requesting that we have a traditional Christmas at home. She continued by explaining she wanted it to be cold, with snow, a big decorated Christmas tree, and loads of our family. While I know I’ve had plenty of Christmas experiences with all of that, I realized she hadn’t. We have experienced Christmas vacations “away” from our home for most of her life and only a couple of times with snow.
London is an exciting city for all ages, with a long list of things to see and do for the entire family. Remember Alan and I lived there for nearly 3 years, when we were first married. We finally introduced the city to the kids in 2013 and we had so much fun touring around on the hop on hop off bus. We are big London fans and the kids keep asking to return.
Singapore is a wonderful place to visit, as it is so clean and organized. That does however come at a price, so be a bit prepared for a little sticker shock, as Singapore is expensive. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the country for a little bit. We had a wonderful 48 hours in Singapore with kids. We want to share what we have learned with you so you can get ideas of things to do in Singapore with kids and a couple of options on where to stay.
