After spending a fantastic week on a houseboat in Amsterdam, we decided to change not just the city in which we would stay, but the country. That is one of the great things about Europe. Everything is so much “closer”.
It’s time to start planning those summer Road Trips
Many people enjoy road trips in Europe and we wanted to experience one as well. We plotted and planned our adventure and experienced one of the best road trips ever! We spent 6 weeks on our road trip roaming around Europe and only booked the first couple of legs of our trip in advance. After that, it was free-flowing. Continue reading
Here I sit out on our terrace in Spain in nearly 100’F hot and humid weather, with no AC to be found, gazing at the Mediterranean Sea and reflecting back on our 6 week Summer Road Trip. While living in Spain, we want to be sure we can see as much of Europe as we can. We usually take advantage of school holidays to take a trip. This holiday was time to meet up with Grandma and spend our Christmas in Paris. We had a full week to enjoy the city and fall in love with it all over again (Alan and I) or for the first time.
