Everything you need to know about the schools in Spain
Over the course of the past 4+ years, we’ve had many parents ask us questions about how we educated our kids in Spain. Through our consulting and through this blog, many of you have submitted some excellent questions about how the Spanish Education System works. Since it’s such a popular topic I decided to write an eBook. As I was writing it, I couldn’t help exclaim:
Wow! I wish we would have had this book before we moved to Spain!
As of a week ago, we got the thumbs up to go to Pueblo Español! The plan was for me to go late July and for Alan to go in October. Well, plans are already changing since I first drafted this post, so see what is happening now!
Guess what time it is? It is time for us to give you an update on what we have been doing to improve Speaking Spanish!
Remember our initial post, back at the end of November, with the goal of making it to Pueblo Español? Oh and the video update of us speaking Spanish at the end of February? Well, here we are at the end of May and we figured you were due another update of our progress. Yes, there is another video. As much as we don’t like speaking Spanish on video, it kind of needs to be done. Thanks to all of you for asking questions and holding us accountable.
We know you work hard to provide a great life for the family. When it comes to the few weeks vacation you have each year, you do your best to balance entertainment for the kids and some relaxing time for the parents. It’s great fun to have a vacation with the family, guys or girls, but you also need to fuel the family foundation. Why not visit Jamaica for a couples vacation? We have been to Jamaica several times and we have also scheduled other parents only vacations in the Caribbean.
The road to obtaining a Spanish drivers license has been a rough, frustrating process. It worked out for us in the end, but now that we have our license, I figured it was worthwhile to explain what we did, the process we went through, and my general frustrations with the whole process.
It’s tough to believe that 20 years ago, Heidi and I got married on Baker Beach in San Francisco. 20 years! So obviously, this post is about our 20th wedding anniversary, and the amazing day that Heidi planned for us. Long story short…it was awesome!
When we mentioned to a good friend we were going to be visiting Aberdeen, she was so excited. Of course she mentioned all of the standard sights to see, but there was also one special place which was a must see. It sounded adorable and apparently is one of the best tiny house villages around.
Oh this city is magical, you could spend an entire week here or just sample a few days. This was home to me for many years and even after all of my travel it is still my favorite city in the world. One reason I love it so much is the diversity which can be found all in a walk and all in one day. I will share with you some of my favorite places so you can get to know the real San Francisco.
